Where is my certificate?

• As  of May 15, 2015, the New Jersey Department of Education will no longer issue paper licenses.  Certificate copies will be available for printing from the  New Jersey Teacher Certification Information System (TCIS) sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Education.
• Available information includes teacher’s name, certificate name, certificate ID number, date of issuance.
• Instructions to view this information  can be found at

• If you wish to check the status of a recent application, please visit:

MY RECOMMENDATION:
** Provide your potential employer the website and login so they can see the database for themselves. There is not much more secure than a .gov website. Hopefully, that will alleviate any issues with not having the paper form.

Muay Thai Boxing -- July 4th!

If you are interested in going to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium (about 20 minutes away) on Saturday to watch some Muay Thai there is a group leaving from Siam Piman hotel at 4pm via hailed taxis.

First fight starts at 4:30 and and the last fight ends at 8:30.  Ring side seats can be purchased at the stadium for 2000 baht.

Services for Travis

Travis O’Neel will be laid to rest in a Thai ceremony at Wat That Thong on Thursday, June 25.  

If you would like to attend, the ceremony will run from 5 pm until around 8 pm onThursday and Friday, with the cremation taking place on Saturday.  All are welcome.  If you are not able to attend, or would like to send flowers, here is a link to a flower shop that can deliver flowers:
